Angel 34 Foundation is a local non-profit organization which assists families who have a child battling cancer. This organization helped Derek Graffis, a former Hanover Township resident, during his 3 year battle with leukemia. In Derek’s memory, the Angel 34 Foundation expanded the love Derek had for children and Cape May by initiating "Derek's Camp Flip Flop" in June 2011. This four day camp takes place each year in Wildwood Crest, NJ, during the month of June. The children battling cancer and their families attend the camp at no cost and are given opportunities to experience the Crest's many attractions. “Derek's Camp Flip Flop” is a Camp to bring NORMALCY, HOPE and FUN to these children and their families.

Aubrey's Spartans run in the Spartan Sprint

"We are a team of runners that do events such as The Tough Mudder and The Spartan Race Series. Last year we raised money for a family who had a daughter suffering from Neuroblastoma. Unfortunately, she lost her battle and we were left wondering how we could go about remembering her and continue to help others in her memory. This year, we decided to do a memorial race for her at the Spartan Sprint at Blue Mountain Ski. We are trying to build a large team (Aubrey’s Spartans) that will do the race as well as a kids race, since the father of the girl is a teacher at my children's school. We are asking each participant who joins out team to donate a minimum of $20 to the Angel 34 Foundation and are hoping that people keep up their end of the deal."

Aubrey's Rays for Hope

On April 30, 2012, Aubrey Somishka left us at the age of 2 but she left us with so much HOPE. In her memory, the Angel 34 Foundation is honoring her by holding the first Annual "Aubrey's Rays for Hope." In July the Rising Son Farm planted over 40,000 sunflower seeds. During the months of September and October bunches of Sunflowers will be harvested and sold to raise Hope, Awareness and Funds for Childhood Cancer. Participating teams and organizations can presell bunches (6 Flowers) for $10. For each bunch of flowers you sell $4 goes back to your team or organization. Help bring Aubrey's Rays of Hope to others in need. Please email Doug at dsheriff@angel34.org or call 610-533-1923 if you are interested in participating.
